A Note from Andy Waldock

Commodity Trader, Broker & Money Manager

I’ve been in the commodity business for more than 30 years, and my family’s involvement goes back three generations. I was the youngest trader in the S&P 500 pit at the Chicago Mercantile Exchange and fully participated in the market’s electronic revolution. If you’ve seen the movie “Floored,” those were my people.

This led me to fuse my family’s fundamental knowledge with modern technology to develop trading algorithms. I published my first program in Futures Truth magazine more than 20 years ago and still trade algorithmically using a combination of TradeStation, GSB, and MatLab. My last presentation on algorithmic trading was an all-day Master’s class in seasonality for Money Show in New York.
